Virustop® ready-for-use gynaecological solution for vaginal douches is indicated in case of several vaginal mucosae discomforts; aid in the restoration of the physiological function of the vaginal mucosa itself.
 
How to use Virustop® ready-for-use gynaecological solution for vaginal douches

Apply one douche a day, following medical instructions. Use of the ready-for-use solution: after carefully washing your hands perform the following operations. Press the cap with the thumb, breaking it, then apply the cannula included inside the blister, pushing well. Perform the douche by inserting the cannula inside the vagina and squeezing the vial gently, until full discharge of the liquid. Do not wash after the application. The patient should preferably perform the douche lying down or in a semi-sitting position, trying to keep the solution inside the vagina for several minutes. Vial and cannula are single-use only, non-reusable. Do not use the included cannula in patients of paediatric age.
 
Precautional Measures and Warnings

The use of Virustop® ready-for-use gynaecological solution for vaginal douches does not require special precautions. Do not use Virustop® ready-for-use gynaecological solution for vaginal douches in case of hypersensitivity or allergy to any components of the product. In case of supposed or ascertained pregnancy, Virustop® ready-for-use gynaecological solution for vaginal douches shall only be used following the pharmacist's or your doctor's advice. To be used on intact mucosa. Do not use the product together with other devices or medications for vaginal use. Prolonged use of the product can lead to local sensitization or irritation; in such cases, stop the treatment and seek the pharmacist's or your doctor's advice. The development of adverse reactions different from the ones described must be reported to the pharmacist or to your doctor. Keep out of sight and reach of children.

• Virustop® ready-for-use gynaecological solution for vaginal douches is intended for vaginal use only; do not ingest.
• Do not use the product after the expiration date printed on the packaging and the vial.
• Do not use the product if the vial and/or the cannula are not intact.

 
Storage conditions

Store in a cool and dry place, away from heat sources.
